First Ride out of the year

It was a wee bit cold today, but roads were dry and salt free so I took the chance to take the old girl on a 50 mile "shake-down" ride out with a mate. Its the first long, fast (ish) run shes had in over a year (since she spat her dummy out) - but she ran perfectly, both at crawling traffic speeds and at well over 100mph.

A lovely ride, no rattles, leaks, spills or drama: cant wait until it warms up a bit: roll on spring.

We also started the riding season in Italy last week-end, 200 km in the mountains, coldish but beautiful.
