Building my bike of course I have an idea how the harness looks and what connectors are used. I talked before about building a modern harness, but that involves some expensive parts, so I am asking now about a traditional looking harness and have some basic questions.
What gauge wires do I need? How many colors? (haven't counted from the schematic..). And the connectors - where can I get the stock type and if not, what would be a water resistant upgrade? I have some like that from China, but they have really skinny pins in them and it makes me nervous.
If building a harness, would you use a different gauge for some connections?
