It's always a pleasure on the rare occasions we get to see Scotch's 1300. Generally, I'm in favour of the 'standard' look, but this bike is exceptional. Almost everywhere I look, there's evidence that Scotch's meticulous thought processes have resulted in either practical or aesthetic alteration. An inspiration, that's for sure.

Thanks ! As most know I'm the only owner for this '80. Been at it since the winter of '83 when it was stripped for the plating and paint and have been doing bits and pieces ever since. Have it now to the limit of my Collector plate status. Will have 90,000K on it by the end of this season. The engine has never been apart, other then the cams, to do the valve stem seals. Almost everything else has been rebuilt or replaced per maintenance, wear and tear.
I'd give up my nuts before this bike.....as long as I can still ride it. Have Transfer papers and the Gift Status form ready to go for my son, when "that" day comes ! He's a meticulous mechanic and I know he'll maintain it as I have. Selling it to a stranger.....Out of the question !

Those handle bars and levers look different to standard. Also, apart from the braided lines, I assume you've always been happy with the standard discs and calipers.
